Description

The Plastiflex switch assembly is the replacement on/off switch mechanism for Plastiflex gas pump style central vacuum hose handles. If the switch on your Plastiflex hose no longer activates the vacuum unit when pressed, feels loose, or has physically broken, this replacement assembly restores full handle function without replacing the entire hose.

About the Gas Pump Handle Style

Plastiflex hoses use a distinctive handle design with a gas pump trigger grip and a front-mounted switch. These handles are built to last, but the switch mechanism — which activates and deactivates the central vacuum unit via the low-voltage signal wire — can wear from repeated pressing over many years of use. Replacing just the switch assembly is a straightforward repair that restores full functionality.
