Description
The 90-degree tee is a T-shaped fitting used to branch a central vacuum piping run in two directions. It creates a 90° split — one inlet continues straight and another branches perpendicular — and is the standard fitting used at each inlet valve location where the main pipe run continues past while a branch connects to the inlet valve box in the wall.
Fits: Standard 2″ central vacuum PVC piping systems.
How It’s Used:
In a typical central vacuum installation, the main 2″ pipe runs through wall cavities connecting the power unit to each floor level. At each inlet valve location, a 90° tee splits from the main run — one branch connects to the inlet valve box in the wall, while the main run continues to the next inlet location.
Mountain Central Vac installs central vacuum systems throughout Utah. Questions? Call 801-556-6048.
